BEEQLASS ⸻
⸻⸻⸻⸻ ARTEMIS

Heya, I'm Artemis - but feel free to call be Artie or Bee!Im hidden away in rural, central Canada, designing fun characters and sketching up thousands more. I love furthering world development via environment, history, lore - anything to give life to a project to really feel it come to life - so that the viewer, player, or other, really feels involved in these worlds and feels as though they are experiencing them as the characters are.I am queer and Asian-Canadian. I also enjoy baking, writing, developing worlds in my freetime, and bothering my two, lovely little kitties - Pixie Lily and Tuesday, respectively. Thanks for coming by, take your time with browsing through!

PROJECTS
SOLARISCAPE
"Solariscape" is a webcomic concept set in a solarpunkian cosmic- horror world. The story follows our main character, Esther, as she races against time to prevent a forgotten god from being woken at ultimately, resetting humanity's history.
Esther went through a lot of trial and error in pre-sketches to get where they are now — I wanted a character with very earthy, natural feels, with trinkets on her that she is given through the story. In the end, I landed on long shorts & an edwardian inspired wrap cape: provides her warmth, while being breezy and light & easy to travel on, useful with deep pockets and a bag they carry on them — while also being fashionable. There is some things that always stuck: a turtleneck, tied back hair, and toeless/heelless socks.
STEREOCULTURE
"STEREOCULTURE" is Solar Lightshow game, and here I worked to compose scenes and colour.
I put together the composition for the Start! screen, along with colouring the objects. KJ did the lines & backdrop, Kiva did the logo.

Lief did the lines, I did the colouring for the majority of the seed packet assets, along with colouring the 'backs'/info to each seed packs.
THE LIGHTS I PROMISED YOU
"The Lights I Promised You" is Solar Lightshows debut game, and I work as an animator, along with dabbling in cleanup animation, coloring, communications & marketing.
NAME [ GMTK 2025 ]
"NAME" is a game made for GMTK 2025, theme of 'Loop.' Here, we created a game featuring Sisypus, stuck in an infinite loop pushing a boulder up a mountain.I was in charge of environmental design, which included various cubes for effects such as electro charged, flooded, spikes, and more.
PERSEPHONE
"Persephone" is a simple google slides 'story' featuring Persephone, as they tell the reader a little about themselves. The character is a Genshin Impact fancharacter, so assets & storytelling elements takes concepts from the game.Read it here!

Refunds are only provided if I have not started the work with three months of silence, or if the commissioner is going through an emergency and voices that. If I have started the work, refunds may be partially issued on a case-by-case basis.I may have bouts of inactivity due to IRL & personal priorities - between having a job, personal artwork, going out to the lake, so please be patient with me. If doubtful of my work results, I can always share past comm examples and more if inquired!Overall, my working hours all depend on my slots, job, and health. I'll do my best to notify you in case of delays! The sketching process can take from a day to up to two weeks, and while I usually finish commissions quickly, please give me up to 2-4 months to complete yours after the sketch has been approved. If I take longer than that with no updates, a refund can be given depending on how much of the artwork was done.If the client has stopped responding beyond 3 weeks upon update, it will be considered completed unless decided otherwise, and there will be no refunds. Please do not ask for updates every few hours, I have a personal life like everyone else.
You are always welcome to ask for updates if I haven't responded in a few days though! It is your commission after all.I’ll send the finished product through either discord or an email of choice.I’m always experimenting with my art style, so the end product may possibly differ by a little compared to commission examples.By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the terms of service above and below.

After receiving payment, I will start on your commission.

I can accept requests if you don’t have adequate visual references of your/the character that you want me to draw, but it'll come at an extra cost.
Roblox pictures are fine as long as I’m provided with enough references. Note that I’ll ask to clarify any questions I have, and that I may still not be 100% accurate without proper references.
Picrew/Character creator images (for ocs) are accepted, as long as you have another actual reference to pair it with; ie. using the picrew to outline an outfit you want, or a change in hair/eye colour. I will accept a Picrew/Character creator image if it is exactly what you want.
